BACS Toolbox Talks
BACS is committed to providing the best possible service to all our customers and a safe workplace for all our staff. Before every large data centre sub-floor service, BACS national service manager David Wilkinson or a BACS senior supervisor gathers the cleaners together for a toolbox talk. During this meeting, they cover all aspects of the job
- reviewing the BACS Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS)
- how to work safely and ergonomically in teams when lifting tiles
- specific site security, access and behaviour requirements
- which power points are to be used for connecting the vacuums
- where to stage equipment out of the way in the data centre.
