BACS & Grosvenor Engineering Group to co-host DCNC Charity Event at L'Aqua in April.
BACS is proud to announce that it will be co-hosting the next DCNC event with the Grosvenor Engineering Group (GEG). The next best announcement is that an exclusive ticket-only event is confirmed for Thursday 4th April at the iconic waterfront L'Aqua venue, in aid of a local charity 'Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association' (ASCCA).
Situated on the rooftop of Cockle Bay Wharf and only a moment’s walk to the CBD, L'Aqua is Sydney's most prestigious event venue for intimate events. L'Aqua offers uninterrupted views over Cockle Bay and Darling Harbour and an abundance of natural light through its floor to ceiling windows.
DCNC or Data Centre Networking Club is an opportunity to bring everyone in the industry together, in a relaxed environment, steering away from the traditional ‘trade-show’ style format to make valuable connections aside from a social media platform or email chain. Imagine 3-4 hours of networking with your industry peers!
The first of its kind in Australia, DCNC provides an excellent chance to meet with new and existing clients and service providers. The key difference is that it's about meeting peers and other professionals to swap notes, to laugh with – sharing challenges and successes, in a room with over 200 people from more than 60 different co-location, enterprise, wholesale and managed service data centre providers.
Ticket sales are open. Don't miss out. Tickets limited to 200.
Bob Allan, Founder and MD of BACS Contamination Control since its launch in 1982 said:
‘To be successful commercially, it is becoming increasingly important to have solid relationships with key stakeholders and a positive impact socially. This event is the perfect way for this to happen.
The evening is in support of charities such as ‘Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association’; a combination of ticket sales and charity raffle ticket sales will go towards the running total for the final donation. We’re excited that we have a number of founding sponsors who have come on board to support the evening too, as we want to bring something new to the industry but more importantly, raise awareness of these IT related charities who look after both ends of the IT support age scale.
We hope that this will be the start of something which we can continue regularly, using our platform to enhance relationships and networks in the industry, but also something for the greater good too’.
STULZ joins DCNC again as Platinum Sponsor. DCD Group, Shred-X and Icon Co joins DCNC for the first time as charity sponsors. Pitek who was a founding sponsor joins DCNC for the 2nd time as a charity sponsor. DCNC thanks all sponsors.
There is still the opportunity to be a platinum or charity sponsor for the event. In 2018, DCNC had the likes of STULZ, PiTek, Grosvenor Engineering Group, Eziblank, Nilsen and Logical Building Automation as sponsors. The event will include drinks and canapes, a charity raffle and a Q&A panel of industry leaders, with a stunning backdrop of the Darling Harbour and Sydney City. We expect the attendee list to include senior management, sales, service delivery, contracts administrators and builders from the likes of NEXTDC, Cockram, Taylor, Fujitsu, NBN and AFL Global.
First DCNC event was successful, held in May 2018 at the Palais Room Luna Park Sydney
